I’m extremely fortunate to be able to work with the top  celebrity styling teams. But what is all the fun if you cannot share right? So, I thought it would be fun to share my skincare, makeup, hair and styling tips. Let’s be real, it is not affordable for everyone to have a personal make up and wardrobe stylist. Ever wonder how celebrities stay looking flawless ALL THE TIME? Well, I’ve learned all the celebrity secrets on how to look good for less. Now everyone can have fun with these tips.

On the regular I’m a no make up, jeans and sneakers type of girl. There are some days I work  long, odd hours on movie sets, where my makeup is caked on thick for HOURS! And we all know what can happen with that? BREAKOUTS….yuck! Who needs those. Well, I’ve discovered some amazing skin care products that are effortless and affordable. I’m a huge fan of organic and natural products. Let me share them with you too.

And don’t forget to post up your experiences after trying out my personal skin care regimen. Would love to know how this helped you.

#1 Never sleep in your makeup!

No matter how tired I am, I always wash my make up off. I absolutely love, love all of Aveeno’s skincare products. I highly recommend AVEENO® Moisturizing Bar containing oatmeal. For those who do not know, the fine oatmeal is also serves as an anti aging product.  It will leave your skin smooth, and also helps prevent yucky pimples.

It costs under $5 and you can get it at any local drugstore. Or visit their website http://www.aveeno.com

#2 Moisturize!

It is crucial that you keep your skin hydrated at all times. Moisturizing your skin with a SPF will not only prevent you from skin cancer, but it will radiate with a natural glow. I recommend using Healthy Defense® Daily Moisturizer SPF 50 with Helioplex You can’t ask for anything better, prevents wrinkles, non-greasy, lightweight and has a skin cancer protection of SPF 50.

It costs under $12 and you can also get this product at any local drugstore. Or visit http://www.neutrogena.com

#3 Exfoliate!

As weird as this may seem, it really works. Exfoliating removes old skin cells and maintains your skins youthful beauty. I exfoliate my face once or twice a week right before I give myself an at home facial. You ever see these weird looking little gloves in the lotion, or skin care isle at your local drugstore?

These are exfoliating gloves for the body. Except I use them for my face. They cost under $5 and you can also get this product at any local drugstore.

Here are some steps to follow.

  • Get your AVEENO® Moisturizing Bar and lather it up with your exfoliating glove under warm running water.
  • Then Gently begin to exfoliate your face. Do this for 2-5 minutes.
  • DO NOT over exfoliate or you will end up with a red face, looking like a red lobster. It will irritate your skin.

#4 Get a facial, wear a mask!

If you cannot go to a spa and get a facial, I found the next best thing.  Try the Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask by The Body Shop. I swear by this mask!!! I’ve been going to spas for years until I discovered this facial mask. After trying it once, I was instantly hooked. It gave me the same results as I got at the spa for a much lesser price.

It costs under $20 and you can get it directly from their website at http://www.thebodyshop-usa.com

To be continued…..

Sleep, vitamins, H2o and anti aging products useful at any age.
