Somaya “Boss” Reece is a woman ahead of her time. Putting her nickname into action, this buxom diva allowed cameras to capture the beginnings of her New York journey on the first season of VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop. Proving she’s a fighter, La Jefa has returned for round 2 of the critically acclaimed show, poised and with a focus on her brand (including a tequila and clothing venture). VIBE VIXEN: It’s been about a year since you’ve shot the first season of Love & Hip-Hop, how does it feel to come back for season 2?

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Let the music move you this fall as Lionsgate brings the inspirational dance film, Go For It!, to DVD, Digital Download and On Demand. Audience Award winner and Official Selection of the 2010 Chicago International Film Festival, this coming of age drama is written and directed by newcomer Carmen Marron, who was inspired by her own experiences as a street dancer in Chicago. The film stars Aimee Garcia (TV’s “Dexter”), as a young Carmen, who spends most of her time in underground clubs enthralled in her life’s passion – dance. The film also features a strong supporting cast that includes Gina Rodriguez (Our FamilyWedding), Al Bandiero (Desires), Jossara Jinaro (Collateral Damage) Louie Alegria (Monk), David Hernandez (The Untouchables) as well as special co star  appearances by Somaya Reece and The Beat Freaks.

Hey guys. Me & my boy Louis James are releasing our new Latin project a merengue record “Eh Mama” produced by Richy Pena. We shpt the music video in Santo Domingo Dominican Republic to embrace and represent our Latin culture. The song releases to radio in 2 weeks, iTunes soon after along with the video and a major push.

My tequila brand is getting ready to lunch within the next few months. My tequila “LA Jefa Premium Tequila” is THEE BEST in the market and it hasn’t even released yet. The taste is smooth and a  light silver. The launch will have a very aggressive PR push behind it with commercials, viral, magazine ads etc.

I am currently coming up with a few Somaya Signature drinks for  your tasting pleasure now.  My tequila will be in restaurants, bars, local stores, wholesale food and beverage warehouses.  I had a showcase last week for record labels and my investor,  I brought some of the bottles to have the fans taste test it. It was a complete success. They loved and raved about it.

Here is a first look at the bottle. However, there is a minor change in design happening with it. I wanted to include the colors of my country El Salvador and curvy women as I am one. The bottle has a unique frost effect with a window to view the curves of the woman when pouring your drink. Check it out below. Drink responsibly.
