Dressed in a electric blue pattern Roberto Cavalli for that sunny California weather. My new hair color n curly hair is POPPIN in this interview. I decided to not wear it so big and y’all know I LOVE everything over the top. lol But I opted for a more tamer softer look.

As most of you know I do still live in NYC but I am a home owner in L.A. So yeah, me and Cal went to L.A for a week and a half to look for a bigger house and to do some business with my new management team I can’t begin to tell you how happy I felt being back home and seeing my parents, hiking everyday how I normally do when i’m in Cali, and it’s always good to see my REAL friends. So as soon as I landed I went to meet up with my friends to watch the game at our local “Cheers” bar. lol Everyone has asked me how much weight did I lose as soon as I walked in the door and in general on this L.A trip. I don’t know an exact number but that’s all i’ve been hearing for the last 2 months. lol  Anyways, saw all my good friends out in L.A then went to see my parents.

Last minute me and my managers went to Vegas for a business trip.  Vegas was a BLAST, what I remember of it. lol

L.A was sunny everyday!!! I got in my car, put the top down and cruised to the beach a few times a week to watch the sunset. It’s kinda my thing I like to do to clear my head.

I also met up with my ride or die girl Tami. We had a GREAT chat about life.  She helped put a few things I had been pondering about into perspective. She’s really sweet and a REAL chick. I don’t roll with phony people which is why we get a long well.

I took Cal to have his first Roscoe’s experience with my manager Ren. Cal LOVED it and went into a food coma. lol We had a great day with Ren pow wowing about my television & music projects.

I did a few interviews with my girl Claudia Jordan’s radio show on Reach Around Radio, my blogger friend Carlton Jordan, and Chanell 11 news. I wore my new Roberto Cavalli summer dress, it was perfect for our sunny California weather.

I was sad to leave L.A because I am attached to my parents!!!! But happy because I flew into Denver where I am now. Flew in to my music label group K.M.G to add more records to my 3rd mix tape from my mix tape series “Rebel With A Cause” and to continue to work on album material. Asides from John Gillette, we have a new producer on the team, UK’s very own Joe Murphy !!

I will post more photos when the reunion gets closer. The reunion special was TENSE. Again, although Vh1 didn’t show my entire journey, i’m extremely happy to have  had the opportunity to star on 2 successful seasons of Love And Hip Hop. It gave me a pretty awesome platform on Vh1 that i’m very grateful for.  I’m glad fans continue to get to know me throughout the show seasons.  I’m a  balanced  individual, spicy but relaxed, not messy or two faced,  sincere, hard working, family oriented, and  independent. I have never been ashamed to share my struggle, I let the world see it without filters. I’ve never sugarcoated how hard my life has been or how ugly my past has been. I only want to inspire others by sharing my story.  I represent the working class of the world, the dreamers, the risk takers, those who work hard for their family, the ones who stand up and fight for their vision. I AM FOR THE PEOPLE! When it airs   I will definitely  be  live tweeting & Facebook posting my commentary as it airs. As you can see, the look on my face says it all.

Hey guys! Last night after an intense season 2 Love And Hip Hop reunion. I took my closest friends to dine at Ricardo’s Steak House in New York. Their gourmet food is AMAZING and the service is impeccable. I recommend their appetizer platter, passion mojitos, steak , lobster, lobster raviolis, and their garlic bread is to DIE FOR. You must check them out. Remember I told y’all I bumped into the pap’s??? Thank goodness I wasn’t looking crazy or picking my booty or nose or something. lol Sooooo yeah, here I am. This is my new hair color. You like?

We were too busy grubbing to take pics of the whole crew. So I only have  this one. Why are we cheezin so hard tho? lol

It’s been a while since i’ve worn my naturally curly hair. I get it from my mother. Her hair is really curly and full. She’s always tried to convince me to wear it. Most of my ladies feel me on this. Once you get used to straightening your hair, you realize your curly hair takes A LOT of effort. I’m not a high maintenance girl so I suppose that’s my main reason I never wear it that way. My make up artist Jonathan thought I needed a change and said “why not” try it for a change. So I tried it out. I showed up to set on the last episode of the show (episode 10 of Love And Hip Hop) and no one recognized me. I heard the executive producer yell “Where is Somaya I thought she was here” lol I was standing right next to her. It was so cute. Anyhow, after a full night of compliments on my new look I thought to myself…..hmmmmm???

So I wore it for my music video “Classy Girl” that will release in a week. Let’s see how this goes.

Styling with Emily. Here are a few photos of some of the outfits we tried on. Alexander McQueen dresses seemed to be the best fit for me. Although not my style, I still enjoyed trying them on and I drove her crazy with my little weirdo ideas. lol Poor Em She was a great sport and we found a happy medium. I appreciate her time.

These were my favorite of Emily’s choices, Alexander McQueen skull pumps. I ended up going out and buying them. lol

This dress Emily really liked on me. It was simple and fun by Alexander McQueen.

In this particular episode I was going to an art gallery to meet with Emily & T. I didn’t want to dress extra fancy since it was a nice casual environment and it was a sunny day in New York. So me & my stylist Ricky put together a nice dress shirt with slim fit jeans and royal purple shoes for color and statement. I’m sure you noticed Emily say I slimmed down I’m coming full swing in 2012 !!

I love gold so I added my over sized JLO hoops with light accessories. Gold link chains and a gold cuff bracelet.
