Along with shooting my music video to “Would You Still Love Me” Rage shot a viral performance commercial for my sponsors Monster Cable in my “Diddy Beat” headphones along with Pepsi. I had a blast shooting my music video. It has taken me 2 days to recover. lol My styling team & glam squad Tekoa & LPC Shelly Castro did a fabulous job in bringing the 50′s inspired Sophia Loren’esque, in a modern day vibe that I wanted. The Marilyn Monroe-Sophia Loren (I was named a young Sophia Loren of our generation) 50′s was a time when women of curves like myself were accepted and not frowned upon. I was able to bring this to life. And it was filmed to look like a film on RED CAMERAS! Rage my music video director was amazing to work with, so creative and such an actors director. He’s a heavy hitter in the music video world and I am SO HUMBLED he took on my project. My friend Dj Vlad came out to film some behind the scenes of the video as well as doing an exclusive interview. My sponsors Pepsi, Hennessy, the illest Monster Cable headphones “Diddy Beats” and “Dr Dre Beats”….! Due to VH1′s privacy policy I cannot show you all the photos and behind the scene videos until it is aired on VH1. I am however happy that everything is coming together well into turning Somaya Reece into a Household Name in 2011. The plan is not being talked about, it is being executed now! Very exciting and nerve wrecking. Enjoy these photos. As soon as I get the green light I will share more. Thank you everyone who continues to support me. EDITED NOTE: I have updated this blog with the VH1 news. (there are more photos I will post in another blog) Here are some photos while filming my reality show with VH1 in Newwww Yaaawwwkkk!! As you know they documented my hustle and grind in the game. Along with a lot of un expected DRAMA! lol There is so much that has happened that was not covered on the show. That will be very exciting for fans because those new projects will surface simultaneously while the show is airing. A 1. 2. Punch! I’m having the time of my life out here, everything whether it was negative or positive has been a great learning experience. There’s nothing like spending the summer in NYC . I’m officially bi-costal now that I have moved here, and am still keeping my crib in Hollywood. It’s collecting dust tho. lol Enjoy

I am so excited and humbled to have him on board and believing in my project. Rage is a heavy weight in music video directing! He has shot videos for Jada Kiss, Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Akon, Soulja Boy, the list is very long! I have known Rage for 7 years now and he has watched me grow as an artist. He believed m=in me way back when I was just starting and he always said one day we would be working together. And wow. The day has come, I have proven myself enough in the game to work such a large and in charge director. Anyhow, I am happy to announce that we are working together in creating a high budget music video to “Would You Still Love Me” I have a secret feature on my record, my boyfriend in my video is a HUGE Dj in New York and he is a caaaaaaaaaaaaayuuuutee~~~!! Hey guys. I went to SOB’s for my 1st time in New York. The event was presented by Hennessy Artistry & Hot 97. I wish I knew PRESS gonna be there, lol I was so not red carpet ready. Eh! I have been voted into several categories under “Latinos most influential people” and “Icons of todays culture” I am so happy to announce that my interview and write up on MSN Latino & Yahoo Latino has been released. This is a pretty big deal because everyone voted into this category is extremely famous. I won these awards for my charitable work and for being a big influence in todays pop culture in both digital and active works.
EDITED NOTE: I have no idea why the measurements are so off. I think MSN got them from the web. I am a size 10 full figured woman 40/42 ddd 28/30 – 46. This is only the beginning to so much more to come from me. And I did it on my own! No publicit, i’m causing a lot of noise on my own. Pretty cool stuff. I am so honored to be well on my way to a household name: Sofia Vergara, Ricky Martin, George Lopez, Perez Hilton, Zoe Zaldana, Shakira and so many more.
While I was in Miami visiting Pitbull. I did a shoot for his website on www.PlanetPit.com I was doing some kind of weird yoga move inside of the tire you see there. Well, it hurt, and I couldn’t take it anymore coz my leg felt like it was gonna literally break in half. When I got out of the tire lol I literally just fell. lol Enjoy
