I had a blast meeting people in AC at my party at club 40/40, through the casino and on the boardwalk. After my party I went to the casino and attempted to play the slots. Sadly to say. I got spanked. lol I didn’t even win a dollar. ha ha The next day we went to the boardwalk and the beach. It was nice to wiggle my feet in the sand and water. We didn’t bring bathing suits so we just went in with our clothes on. lol We tried the buffet the next day as well. WOAH! I got full just looking at it. The roadtrip back was hilarious. We stopped at New Brunswick and ate at a truck called R U Hungry. We had these crazy named samiches and laughed a lot about them with my team. It was hilarious. Shout outs to all my boss ladies that came and had fun with me. GIRL POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!! A special thanks to Team Somaya. Enjoy :)

[NEWS] EXCLUSIVE: DJ Spin King & Somaya Reece mixtape in the works!

Wanted to make the official announcement. Me & East Coast’s very own DJ Spin King will be working on my 1st mixtape.

 
Dj Spin King  is Young Simmons and Diggy Simmons official DJ and now mine. The East Coast has shown this Cali girl so much love i’m so humbled by it all. I really admire Spin King’s work ethic. He’s only 17 years old and already  the biggest DJ in the teen scene, club and respected amongst other heavy hitting DJ’s out. 

After the first time we got in the studio with Spin King and Cito On The Beat. It was official. Our studio chemistry was INSANE CRAZY!!!!! We made a hit record “Dale” (it’s unreleased) on our first studio session.  So we talked about this mixtape idea I been wanting to do and decided to take this FULL FORCE as a collaboration DJ Spin King & Somaya Reece mixtape!!!!! Haven’t thought of the name yet but you better believe it will be very BOSS. I’m going to do a mix of street records heavily influence with a Latin sound. I’ve been working REALLY hard on my new music and it is really showing. I have visited a few record labels out here with my new records you guys haven’t heard yet and it’s all looking good :) We plan on making our mark  FULL FORCE with this mixtape!!! We also plan on doing a lot of performances. So get ready. 

I have a meeting with a local up n coming NYC video director to shoot a few videos to some of these records.  I also have a HUGE video director and friend RAGE (Busta Rhymes-Missy-Lil Kim-Diddy etc etc) who will be shooting  “Would You Still Love Me” song FT: Black Wall Street’s Shoot XO with a pretty big budget! I  I have the best push behind it and amazing features that will be on my mixtape. 

Our first record off my mixtape will be “Boss Lady” featuring ATL’s very own-Rasheeda & The East Coast Queen-Lady Luck!  

Spin King will be dropping the record Wednesday.

Thank you for the love you guys have shown me on this wild  journey of mine. I never thought I would get all these amazing blessings and move to New York. My plan was to be here for 3 weeks and instead I moved here got a few deals, and never looked back. Stay inspired :)

I feel like I was meant to be a tropical fish. lol I love love love laying on the beach for hours!!!! BBQing, sipping pina coladas, eating mangos and pinapples watching the sunset. Agggggggg I love it. I try my best to book atleast 2 crystal clear water beach vacations yearly. Asides from finally having my meeting with Pitbull……Miami beach was amazing. I’m so darn obsessed with these waters that I invested in  place in Hawaii and Belize with my sisters. lol
